Built around your objectives
The Custom Expedition is for travelers whose plans do not fit one of our published itineraries. There is no fixed route or standard day-by-day program. We build the journey after discussing what you want to accomplish, how much time you have, the regions you are interested in, your preferred pace, and the level of logistical support you need.
How planning works
1. Tell us your dates and priorities. Share the places, subjects, people, landscapes, or experiences that matter most to you. 2. We review feasibility. Our Kabul-based team considers route logic, seasonal conditions, access, transport, accommodation, permissions, and realistic travel times. 3. We design the journey. You receive a proposed route, day-by-day plan, accommodation approach, transport plan, and confirmed quotation. 4. We refine it together. The itinerary can be adjusted before confirmation so the final journey reflects your priorities rather than a pre-set circuit. 5. We coordinate the ground operation. Once confirmed, we arrange the agreed guides, drivers, hotels, documentation support, and other trip logistics.
Possible focus areas
Custom journeys can be built around photography, historical and cultural research, family or diaspora travel, media work, specialist field visits, remote-area logistics, business travel, or a combination of interests.
Route, duration, and price
There is no standard duration or fixed price. Both depend on the final route, group size, accommodation level, transport requirements, season, and the amount of specialist coordination required.
Accommodation and transport
Accommodation is selected for the final route and can include standard, premium, or luxury options where suitable properties are available. Transport is also route-specific and may combine private vehicles, higher-clearance 4WDs, and domestic flights.
Important planning note
A custom request is an opportunity to assess a journey, not a promise that every requested location can be included. Final routing is agreed after reviewing current access, operating conditions, permissions, timing, and practical feasibility.
