Working From Kabul

We do not parachute in for the season.

Leadership is American-led and the team is Afghan. President / Co-Founder James “Amir” Sidiqi and Vice President / Co-Founder Mohammad “Edrees” Rahimi run the company from Kabul.

We plan tourism, documentary work, expeditions, and related logistics with people we already know. Drivers, guides, hotel partners, and local contacts are part of the working relationships behind each journey.

The question everyone asks is whether a trip is “safe.” We will not answer that with a guarantee. We answer it with routing, local coordination, and a willingness to change the day.

Your safety is planned, not promised.

What Makes Us Different

Local planning, cultural context, and routes built for real conditions.

Local Planning

Routes and transport that fit the day.

Standard journeys use 4WD vehicles and trusted drivers. Timing and routing are planned around road conditions, seasons, access, and the itinerary in front of us.

Cultural Access

Respectful visits beyond the surface.

Religious sites, historic monuments, bazaars, restaurants, and community encounters are approached with cultural awareness and local guidance.

Routes That Can Change

The itinerary is a plan, not a promise to a road.

If a pass, road, flight, or destination is the wrong call that week, we adjust the route, change the day, or wait rather than force the itinerary.

Beyond the Headlines

Afghanistan is not a checkbox. It is a conversation.

Travelers remember the monuments, mountains, and ancient cities. But they also remember the tea, the markets, the conversations, the local guides, the drivers, and the people who welcomed them along the way.

Our job is to make that access possible through disciplined planning, local guidance, clear expectations, and respect for Afghanistan’s culture and operating environment.
